These Terms apply when you access or use Arcane Quotes. Arcane Quotes and Arcane Platforms are operated by Arcane Web Design Limited, a New Zealand limited company, NZBN 9429052528996.

Using Arcane Quotes

Arcane Quotes helps businesses create and manage quotes. This includes using voice recordings and AI to turn spoken job information into a structured quote draft.

You are responsible for using Arcane Quotes appropriately for your business and for the quotes you create, approve or send.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure, providing accurate account and business information, and activity carried out through your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Your information

You retain ownership of the business, customer and job information you submit. You give Arcane Web Design Limited the limited permission needed to receive, store, process, format and transmit that information to provide, support and secure Arcane Quotes.

If you submit information about customers or other people, you are responsible for making sure you are entitled to collect, use and provide it, and for meeting privacy and notification obligations that apply to your business. You instruct Arcane Quotes and the service providers it uses to process that information for the purpose of providing Arcane Quotes.

AI-generated information

AI-generated information can be incomplete, inaccurate or misunderstood. You remain responsible for reviewing and correcting every quote before relying on it or sending it to a customer.

You must confirm customer details, job descriptions, quantities, rates, totals, GST or other tax treatment, calculations and all other generated content, and decide whether the quote is appropriate to send.

Acceptable use

You must not use Arcane Quotes unlawfully, attempt to interfere with or compromise the service, access another customer’s information without permission, introduce malicious code, or abuse the public demo, automated systems or usage limits.

Availability

We work to keep Arcane Quotes reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, provider outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

You retain ownership of your business information, customer information, job information and quote content.

Arcane Web Design Limited retains its rights in the Arcane Quotes software, application design, product branding, underlying platform, proprietary technology and content we provide. Your right to use the service does not transfer ownership of Arcane Quotes or its underlying technology to you.

Free trial

Arcane Quotes offers a 14-day free trial with no card required. At the end of the trial, you can choose to start a paid subscription to continue using paid functionality.

You will not be charged automatically at the end of a no-card trial. If you do not subscribe, paid access or functionality may be restricted.

Pricing and recurring subscriptions

The current Arcane Quotes subscription price is NZ$29 per month. The price and billing period shown when you subscribe will apply to your subscription.

A paid subscription renews monthly until it is cancelled. By starting a paid subscription, you authorise the recurring subscription charge using the payment method you provide.

Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription to stop future renewal. Access will normally continue until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancelling part-way through a month does not normally create an automatic partial refund.

Failed payments and refunds

If a payment fails, we may retry it, ask you to update your payment details, or restrict paid access after giving you a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us and we will review it fairly. Any refund will depend on the circumstances and any rights that apply and cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can stop using Arcane Quotes at any time. We may suspend or close an account where there is serious misuse, a security risk, non-payment or a material breach of these Terms.

Features, service limits, pricing and these Terms may change over time. We will communicate material changes in an appropriate way before they take effect where reasonably possible. The current version of these Terms will remain available on this page.

Arcane Quotes is a tool to assist your quoting process, not a substitute for your business judgement. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by information you did not review, decisions you make using a quote draft, or events outside our reasonable control.

Our responsibility will be assessed reasonably in light of the service provided, the amount paid and the circumstances. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by New Zealand law.
